To balance reliability and ultralight performance, this kit offers two cord options:

• 2 mm Cord – Maximum Reliability
  Tested to 255 kg+ (562 lb+) max load. Rock-solid for tents, tarps, and shelters in demanding weather.

• 1 mm Cord – Ultralight Specialist
  About 35 kg+ (77 lb+) max load at just 0.9 g/m. Ideal when every gram matters—pair with Woojin Storm Line Adjusters for secure tension under pressure.

Both cords use UHMWPE fibers (Dyneema-class): lighter than steel by weight, highly cut/abrasion resistant, and low-stretch for stable pitches.

Load ratings are application-dependent; knots, hardware, and angles will affect strength.

Recommended Use

• 2 mm: primary storm guylines, ridgelines, high-wind sites, 4-season tents, large tarps.

• 1 mm: secondary guys, inner tent hooks, minimalist tarp edges, UL stake loops, emergency cordage.
